Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful, hands-on healing technique that is taught through a special ‘energy transmission’ - also called attunement process - during the Reiki Initiation.
The attunement process creates an open channel for the healing energy to flow through the Reiki healer to the receiver. Once a person has opened up to become a ‘channel’ for Reiki, concentrated life energy will pass through his hands of its own accord and will retain this ability for the rest of his life.
The First Degree Training is suitable for anyone (children and older people too) who wants to tap into his or her own healing abilities and experience the Reiki healing energies.
Second degree training is suitable for all students who wish to experience the healing energies on deeper levels.
Third degree training is for those students who have achieved First and Second Degree Trainings and feel a vocation to give and receive healing.
Reiki works on many different levels of mind, body, emotions and spirit and produces a deep cleansing. It loosens up blocked energy, helps cleanse the body of toxins and supports each individual’s healing process. It is used to effectively treat a variety of physical ailments and can also be used for self-healing, mental healing and distant healing
Reiki Healing improves your entire life. The Reiki Initiations open your channel for healing. You will be empowered to let the Reiki force flow through and radiate from your hands. Reiki helps with many conditions and particularly with stress symptoms, anxiety and pain. It is rejuvenating to body, mind and soul. Reiki restores a natural feeling of well-being in daily life.
Tanmaya is part of the spiritual tradition started by Dr. Usui, the founder of Reiki. Her methods of teaching adhere to the nine elements of the Usui tradition, which includes the original Reiki symbols, hand positions and energy attunements.
Tanmaya's lineage goes directly back to the source of Reiki. She trained with one of the few Masters initiated by Hawayo Takata, who introduced Reiki to the Western World.
