Practical Reiki

The-Complete Reiki Tutor Our natural state as human beings is to be healthy and happy. Reiki enhances your well-being, promotes healing and deep relaxation on all levels (body, mind and soul) and harmonizes the chakras. This section guides you, step by step, to learn how to give extra Reiki to specific areas, when experiencing physical disturbances, emotional upsets or any imbalances in the body.

Every morning when I wake up I feel the Reiki energy in my hands – what a gift.

Connecting to the Universe and Earth

I start my self-treatment by laying my hands on the back of my head. (see image above)
After a minute or so, I feel the energy flowing – first in my head and then down through the body.
Being a Reiki Master, I also use the Master symbol – visualizing the symbol entering my head and sending it through my whole body.
How wonderful…! I feel so connected to the Universe and the Earth at the same time.

Balancing the hormones

Balancing the hormones

Next I place my hands in a position on my head which helps to balance the hormones in the body and much more.

I stay between three to five minutes – sometimes even longer – in each hand position. Sometimes it gets really hot.
That’s when I most need the Reiki, especially when I feel I might be developing a cold. After a few minutes, my head feels really clear.

Waking up the heart

Saying 'Hello' to the heart

Next I focus on my heart, placing my hands on my chest.
Saying ‘hello’ to my heart, talking to it and asking: ‘How are you doing?’. This position also strengthens my immune system.

Waking up the organs

Waking up the organs

I then give attention to my lower ribcage, placing my hands on both sides and waking up the organs – liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and digestive system.
My organs love it.

Afterwards, if I have more time, I continue with other hand positons. There are many more additional positions for giving extra Reiki for specific areas.*

I tend to use one or two cushions to support my arms, so that I don’t need to hold them up.

Wishing you a good time, with Morning Reiki in bed!
